During Riot Fest 2019 I was able to catch up with an old flame of mine. There was a point in my life when I would have put Teenage Bottlerocket in my top 10 bands of all time and I'm still thoroughly geeking out over the fact that they agreed to an interview. I was able to catch up with Miguel on Sunday before their performance on the Rebel Stage and we talked about the band's new record, the attempts to reach younger audiences, and their not so subtle heavy metal influences.
