SUMMARY

This inspection was performed at the request of a curious listener of the subject Start Laughing constructed by the Nashville-based outfit Circuit Circuit prior to purchase. The electrical system at https://circuitcircuitcircuit.bandcamp.com/album/start-laughing is in SEVERE CONDITION and poses an IMMEDIATE HAZARD TO THE INNER EAR and GENERAL SANITY of anyone within shouting distance. The system is a dangerous mix of corroded '00s metalcore wired through a mix of discarded grey matter, semtex 1A, and a slurry of ugly moods gouged from the retention pools of a dead-end town, as well as unpermitted DIY modifications made without regard for prevailing gatekeepers, representing a dangerous index of acute code violations.

It is my professional opinion that the system in question is at high risk of causing a catastrophic failure of a listener's sense of security and mental fortitude, leading to a meltdown within their vestibular sensory apparatus. I strongly recommend that the buyer not engage until extensive remedial psychiatry can be performed by a licensed professional ahead of their pressing play within their browser, or home stereo system, or generally, letting that needle drop. Furthermore, the listener is warned that insurance carriers may deem any property where this album is allowed to be played without proper safety protocols, riot-proofing, and flame-retardant measures having been implemented to be preemptively condemned and ineligible for future coverage.

AREAS OF CONCERN & CODE VIOLATIONS

Track 1. "****Ville"

This track poses a significant hazard to listeners who haven't yet exhibited the frame of mind to crane their neck around and get a gander at the crapcake of a town they live in and come to terms with how quickly it's swirling down the throat of a porcelain god... nor have they examined why it might deserve such a fate. The track further embodies a surging, heart-defibrillating tension, a high-voltage, groovy gash and gouge flow, transmitting a high failure rate of normal social integration, a cascading tendency toward breakers failing to trip during an overload. This creates a significant risk of arcing and fire and spontaneous ignition when you least expect it.

Grounding may help alleviate some of the corrosion and reintegrate some frayed social connections, but the system overall seems broken and prone to shock and collapse.

Track 2. "Death by Billboard"

Approximately 60% of this track is irradiated with plutonium-grade chronophobia, which expands in a condensed plume of active misanthropic fallout. The insulation on the wiring here was observed to be brittle, cracking, and in some areas, missing entirely, exposing its scraped raw, metallic nerves and a mesh of half-peeled strands of contumacious musculature. This exposed wiring is in direct contact with the skeletal protrusions, giving these harder elements a flexibility and ability to deliver decisive and deadly rip-and-release rhythms that have a tendency to spark torch load-bearing structures.

The cable installation here is not rated to handle this high level of electric overkill, and it is recommended that you unplug everything in the house while this track is playing, including kitchen appliances, in case a surge overloads the breaker and sends you on delivery up to St. Peter's, extra crispy.

Track 5. "This City Is a Gaping Wound"

Here we have open calls for recognition of an abusive and suffocating state of affairs that has seeped up from a crack in the foundation like a murky surfeit of liquified aggravation, whipping and spitting like a homuncular grafting of United Nations and Coalesce. The grooves that run through its mooted figure are as coarse and sturdy as pig iron, and every riff slices like the edge of an aluminum knife.

It is recommended that the plate covers that were supposed to contain this monstrosity be replaced, but now that it's overtaken the subterranean level of the structure, there is almost no chance of containing it. The spread of this massive, monstrous metallurgic din has reached a tipping point and may be terminal.

Track 10. "Laughter"

It was discovered that there is a total lack of GFCI Protection (i.e., General Fucking Chaos Interruption) implemented throughout the wirework of this structure, meaning that any dampness, depressive feelings, or direct contact with the dire state of one's reality can trigger a complete implosion of the perception into a blind rage. Does this look funny to you? Does it make you laugh knowing that a hair-thin wire separates this suburban setting from becoming Art the Clown's penthouse? There is a general tendency for this track to accumulate the shredding suicidal drive of a carnival ride crashing through a series of increasingly warped and distortive mirrors, the reflective remnants carving through any luckless passengers until they resemble the misshapen ruminants they had forcibly fragmented.

The issues here are clearly the product of backstabbing connections and transitions through various stages of toxic couplings. These are prone to failure and overheating, especially under heavy pressure; here, these combustible qualities just mean you're sitting on a nest of live grenades. If you hear a ticking noise, RUN!

SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATIONS

To bring this property into a safe and code-compliant condition, the following actions are necessary. ...I lied; there is no way to bring it up to code. It is completely unregulated and unregulatable. You can either live with the mayhem, or abandon your intentions to possess this sonic trough of conflagrant strife and comfortless emotional spectacle and switch to easy listening. But if you're into that sort of thing, if you like waking up in a cold sweat reliving your greatest humiliations and paralyzed by hounding fears, then this is probably for you. Because in my professional opinion, it categorically rocks, even if it wrecks everything it touches.

Disclaimer: This inspection is an auditor, non-invasive evaluation of the readily accessible components of this project. It is not a guarantee that all points of hazard have been identified. Hidden conditions may exist below the surface that not even its creators or I are aware of, and getting too familiar with it on your own could result in lasting damage—physically, mentally, spiritually—and you may even find yourself reincarnated as something less than degraded and well below the status of a human in your next life as a result. But maybe you're sick of your humanity. Humans have given way too many opportunities to fuck up in their short lives. The life of an earthworm or pillbug is downright serene in comparison if we're talking purely in terms of their capacities to spread and absorb suffering. Something to think about...
