Chicago songwriter and performer
Uma Bloo stopped by the
CHIRP studio a few weeks ago to talk with me about her new single "Marguerite's Novels," which was supposed to premiere on Valentine's Day, but she uploaded the track a few days early thinking no one would notice (How wrong she was! Haha!). We talked about her influences, her visual style, and how cabaret helped her find her voice. She has a unique presence and singing style, and I'm very much looking forward to what gems she sees fit to share with us next. Check out the interview below and her new single
here.
