With the festival of spirits almost upon us, I figured it was as good a time as any to share my review of Deserted the new album from phenomenal Arizonian death metallers Gatecreeper. Gatecreeper have a highly engaging and surprisingly fresh take on the OG Swedish death metal sound, with heavy punk influences, and thoroughly adapted for the arid landscape which they call home.
